
The Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) has played a key role in boosting property sales in Johor, according to State Housing and Local Government
Committee chairman Datuk Mohd Jafni Md Shukor. He explained that the establishment of the JS-SEZ has helped reduce the number of unsold properties, especially serviced apartments. From 2022 to 2024, property sales in Johor have increased by more than 15%, showing a positive trend.
Out of the 102,438 serviced apartment units built, only about 11,810 remain unsold, and this number continues to decline.
